It seems to me that she did not do anything either. If she did a complete investigation, why did she wait until she got a phone call to send a letter? It seems to me that if she did an investigation, she would have sent the letter when the investigation was done, not when she got a phone call.
We checked out at 10:30am, stayed in the casino until about 4pm. When we got back to her home in Atlanta about 11:30pm, I looked for my Kindle Fire and I could not find it. I panicked and told her and she called the hotel because she made the reservations. She talked to someone at the front desk and was told that housekeeping would be there in the morning. She asked to speak to someone in security. The security officer says he would check with the occupants of that room and would call her back (which did not happen because it was after midnight). Well, of course, he never returned her call.
My wife got sick and they band us
I am very disappointed.
I spoke to my sister and she made a few more phone calls and spoke to several different people and one person asked for a claim number. There was no claim number because the Head of Security never entered the information into the computer. He finally entered some information in the computer 3 weeks after the fact. My sister then received a call from an examiner and between my sister and I, we gave all the information to the examiner from previous phone calls and emails. Well, the examiner was given an adequate amount of time to conduct an investigation. Well, after not hearing anything for about a month, my sister called one Thursday and left a message. Well, 4 days later, on Monday, she got a letter stating that the investigation was done.
I got on the computer to find the number to Amazon to call them. When I checked my emails, someone had downloaded 8 apps to the Kindle Fire at about 5pm. I called Amazon and they were able to suspend the service; so that no further activity would be allowed. The next morning, my sister spoke with Head of Security, as well as housekeeping. Well, the Kindle Fire was not reported by housekeeping and I doubt that security or housekeeping asked the guests who was staying in the room. I am really disappointed in the lack of concern for a guest’s item.
Clean, comfortable, good food and hospitality. We have been loyal patrons at Sam's Town for years. However, because they could not accommodate us this trip we went to Horseshoe. Great experience, it will now be our place to stay in Tunica.
My boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Tunica at the Terrace Tower Hotel. When we arrived the outside appearance was very nice as well as the inside. When we went to our room after checking it we noticed the bathroom had not been clean there was hair left in the bathtub and feces left on the toilet which was disgusting. I immediately called the front desk to informed them and they said they would send someone from housekeeping we waited and waited and no one showed up. I tried again to call housekeeping directly and they came right away it was obvious the front desk did not try to reach anyone. We paid $115.00 per night for this room and it's not worth it at all. The room was outdated and needed renovating like 5 years ago. We may visit Tunica again, but we definitely will not be staying at this hotel again. I hope this review helps someone I had read mixed reviews before booking the hotel, but decided to try it inspite of the bad reviews.
After speaking with the head of security, he said he was going on vacation and would be back in a week. When he returned, I waited about a week before I sent him an email. During our email correspondence, he never asked for a description of the item or the cover that it was in and in one email, he is looking for a cell phone and not a Kindle Fire.
Everyone were very helpful ensuring all was well during my visit , to please ask if I needed assistance .
My sister and I went to Tunica in March because they offered free stays. When we arrived for our stay, we found out that they had booked us into the Terrace Hotel due to the power being out. We went over to the Terrace and checked in. The hotel and room was nice. However, the heat was less than adequate. No matter what the thermostat was set at, the room never got warm.
